Turnovers
Assign a cleaner and a checklist to a departing booking; the cleaner ticks every item and adds a photo.
A turnover is one cleaning job between a guest checking out and the next arriving. A manager assigns a cleaner and a checklist to the departing booking; the cleaner completes every item and adds a photo, and the job shows as done for everyone with access.
Prepare and assign a turnover
- Open Turnovers. Under Prepare a turnover, choose the Departing booking (it lists each approved booking as home, title and checkout date) and the Cleaner.
- Write the Checklist, one item per line, such as "Strip and remake beds" or "Restock coffee and towels". A checklist has from 1 to 50 different items.
- Choose Prepare turnover. The job appears under Turnover jobs as a draft.
- Check it and choose Approve and assign turnover. The cleaner now sees the job.
Only cleaners with active access appear in the list; add them in Homes and people. A booking has at most one approved turnover.
What the cleaner does
The cleaner signs in on their phone or computer and opens Turnovers, where they see only their own jobs. For each job they:
- Tick every checklist item.
- Add a Checklist photo: one JPEG or PNG up to 256 KB.
- Write a Photo caption, such as "Beds made, hot tub covered".
- Choose Complete photographed checklist.
A job cannot be completed with an item unticked, and it cannot be completed twice.
After the clean
The job shows completed with the time, the caption and a View checklist photo link. The photo is private: only the assigned cleaner and you and your managers can open it. If the booking changes after the job was assigned, the cleaner cannot complete the old assignment until a manager reviews the job again.
